Since 2016, Summit County Community Partnership (SCCP), has been the lead in introducing the Deterra Project in the community. The Deterra Project has distributed tens of thousands of drug deactivation pouches (Deterra) throughout the region, via hospitals, libraries, pharmacies, and other partner organizations.
Each October, SCCP holds a Community Drug Prevention Celebration to share the progress of the Deterra Project, report out data, thank our partners, recruit new partners, and spread the word of the importance of these drug deactivation pouches. Now we face the challenge of doing this in a time when we rely on partners to help us get the deactivation pouches into households through new avenues.
In 2020, our event will take place virtually on Thursday, October 22nd from 8:30-9:30 a.m. We invite you to join us for this celebration!Find out more »
